The Importance of Health Advocacy: Lessons Learned from a Pandemic is the personal story of and by KComms' Katie Kissal. The story describes advocating for her parents during the pandemic and ultimately losing them to COVID-19. She shares this in hopes to help others understand the importance of the role, and how to navigate the complex healthcare system.
