The Importance of Health Advocacy: Lessons Learned from a Pandemic is the personal story of and by KComms' Katie Kissal. The story describes advocating for her parents during the pandemic and ultimately losing them to COVID-19. She shares this in hopes to help others understand the importance of the role, and how to navigate the complex healthcare system.
In honor of the Amercian Heart Foundations's Go Red for Women campaign, KComms' hosted a Kendra Scott pop-up shop at Old Town's Mint Collection.
